Lylburn Waggener Lockridge Jr, age 69, of Indianapolis, Indiana entered this life on October 15, 1949 in Evansville, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Lylburn Waggener Lockridge Sr and Thelma Mae Lockridge.
Lylburn was married for forty years to his wife Kathy. He retired from Arab Pest Control after forty years. Lylburn enjoyed camping and fishing in his spare time and truly loved being in nature. He enjoyed politics and was very patriotic.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Lee Lockridge; his son, Lylburn Waggener Lockridge III; his two daughters, Patricia Lockridge Renteria and Lori Lockridge; twelve grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Dehoney, Patricia Barton, Ruth Doughty, Carolyn Adkins, Linda Sanders, Robin Powell, and Deborah Chavez. He is preceded in death by his father Lylburn Waggener Lockridge Sr., mother Thelma Mae Lockridge, and siblings Clayton Lockridge and Phyllis Reasoner.
Lylburn passed away at 10:02 pm on Tuesday March 12, 2019 at his residence in Indianapolis. He will be deeply missed. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Harry W. Moore Chapel – Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250. The Funeral Service will
follow at 4:00 pm also at the funeral home with Chaplin Dave Soucie officiating. In accordance with Lylburn’s wishes he will be cremated following services. Indiana Funeral Services entrusted with care.
